AC 15-Point Checklist

1. Thermostat Operations - Check settings, display, and temperature accuracy.
2. Power Supply - Inspect breaker, disconnect, and electrical connections
3. Air Filter - Clean or replace if dirty
4. Indoor Evaporator Coil - Check for dirt, icing, or damage
5. Outdoor Condenser Coil - Clean debris, dust and buildup
6. Refrigerant Level - Verify charge is correct, check for leaks
7. Compressor Condition - Inspect operation and unusual noise / vibration
8. Condenser Fan Motor - Check running condition and blade balance
9. Blower Motor - Inspect airflow and motor performance
10. Capacitor and Contactor - Test condition and proper function
11. Drain Line and Drain Pan - Clear blockages and check for leaks
12. Ductwork - Inspect for leaks, loose joints, or airflow restrictions
13. Airflow at vents - Confirm even cooling and proper circulation
14. Temperature Split - Measure return vs. supply air temperature
15. Overall System Performance - Check cooling cycle, noise, and efficiency
